Renata da Silva Athayde Barbosa

Renata Barbosa is currently a researcher at Maastricht University, where she teaches and manages a research project. She holds a PhD in criminal law from University of the State of Rio de Janeiro since 2019. Her research focuses in the analysis of the concept of political crimes, also, she published articles in the topics of amnesty, transitional justice and international criminal justice in Brazilian and international reviews. She is member of the editorial team of Oxford Transitional Justice Research and of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Penal Law.
