Statement on Behaviour

Statement on behaviour

The University of Oxford and our School are committed to fostering an inclusive culture which promotes equality and values diversity.  We aim to maintain a working, learning and social environment in which the rights and dignity of everyone is respected.  All staff, students, workers and visitors to the School are therefore expected to behave in a respectful and appropriate manner at all times.  Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated in any form and the School takes this very seriously.

Useful information:

There are a number of trained harassment advisers across the University: https://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/eop/harassmentadvice/advisornetwork/

TALK ABOUT IT: alternatives are that you could tell a trusted colleague, friend, the Academic Coordinator (students) or HR Officer (visitors, workers and staff)

An initiative on zero tolerance to sexual violence/harassment from the University - in collaboration with the Student Union - can be found here: http://www.ox.ac.uk/againstsexualviolence
