Natasha is studying at Wolfson College, Oxford. Her interest in Latin America’s legislative politics arose after working in Chile in February 2020, surrounded by the tension of the ‘Estallido Social’ and upcoming constitutional plebiscite. This led to her completing an undergraduate dissertation examining why Chile’s first Constitutional Convention resulted in ‘Rechazo’.
At Oxford, Natasha is looking to branch out into Brazilian politics, particularly researching foreign policy with China, and broadening her knowledge of economics and diplomacy.
Outside of her studies, Natasha has worked for some of Latin America’s most influential media, including Grupo de Diarios América (GDA) and Grupo PRISA. She has particularly enjoyed her role as UK Correspondent, analysing breaking news in Spanish for national radio and television.
