Lu Yu

I am currently pursuing an MSc in Latin American Studies at LAC as a member of St. Hugh’s College. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Culture, paired with International Business Studies. During my academic journey, I had the opportunity to spend a semester in Mexico as an exchange student, which greatly enriched my understanding of the country’s culture and society. This experience sparked my interest in exploring international trade and economic development in Latin American countries. Studying at Oxford offers a great opportunity to broaden my knowledge not only in economics but also in the sociology of Latin American countries through interdisciplinary courses. I am excited to take this next step of my studies at Oxford.
