Leandro Raizer is a professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre, Brazil; and Secretary of RC23 Science and Technology of International Sociological Association (ISA). He obtained his PhD in Sociology at the UFRGS, with a collaborative period at the Université de Montréal (Canada). Currently, he researches education and inequality process in comparative perspective, and global debates about our technoscientific futures. He is a researcher member of University Studies Group (CNPq). Leandro's most recent publications include Inequalities linked in the Brazilian educational system: stratification between the middle and higher levels of education, 2019; New Audiences and New Educational Stratifications in Brazilian Higher Education in the 21st Century, 2018; Secondary Education and Knowledge Society in Brazil, 2018.
