I started working at the Latin American Centre (LAC), which I call the Happy Centre, in October 1988. The centre was then based in 21 Winchester Rd, had only 3 fellows and was running two courses with a small number of students (average 6). Today we are in 1 Church Walk, have 7 fellows attached to the centre and are running 3 courses with a larger number of students (average 25). During the years I have had the opportunity to meet and help so many students, visitors, recognised students, some of which are working with big firms/government all around the world. It's been fun working as admissions secretary at LAC for so many years. I love working with students and helping them during their journey from the moment they apply to the moment they finish their studies with us and beyond.
