Dr Andres Solimano was the CAF-Oxford University Fellow in Latin American Economics 2015, conducting research on Economic Elites, Middle Class and the Evolving Nature of Inequality in Latin America, at the Latin American Centre. He is the founder and current President of the International Center for Globalization and Development (CIGLOB) and has held previous positions at the World Bank, InterAmerican Development Bank, FLACSO-Chile and the UN - ECLAC.
