I am a PhD – doctoral candidate at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, currently visiting LAC. My background is in Economics, with a MA degree on Government and Public Administration. My doctoral research is related to the institutional development in Latin America, departing from the fact that the great financial crisis of 2008-2013 had mild effects in the region compared to the rest of the world and compared to the region’s behaviour in previous crises. For this, I consider some key aspects as authority relations vs bargaining relations and the transit from limited access orders to open access orders.
My research activity is shared part time with an executive position at Ion Beam Applications, S.A., one of the main world players in the field of nuclear medicine, as VP for Latin America.
