Alice is a professor at El Colegio de México’s Center for Sociological Studies. She holds a PhD in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a master’s in international management as well as an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and the Copenhagen Business School. She has been a visiting researcher at the University of Guadalajara, Stanford University, the UN ECLAC and the Pontificia Universidad de Chile. Her research focuses on elites and wealth, perceptions of inequality, and ethnoracial discrimination.
