Paul is a PhD candidate in Social Anthropology at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris, France. He works on the conflicts existing between soybean producers and the Guarani Pai Tavytera-Kaiowa indigenous people in South America. Paul's research is supervised by Professor Veronique Boyer at the Mondes Américains Research Centre.
