Maria Montt is Associate Professor at the Institute of History, member of the Asian Studies Center, and Vice President of International Affairs at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her research examines the historical and cultural dimensions of China–Latin America relations, with particular emphasis on transnational intellectual networks, migration, public diplomacy, and the bilateral relationship between Chile and China. She is author of the Representations of China in Latin American Literature (1987-2016), and co-author, with Carol Chan and Elvira Ríos, of Chineseness in Chile.
Cuiwen Wang is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of International Relations at Nankai University’s Zhou Enlai School of Government. She also serves as a Research Fellow at the University's Latin American Center and Human Rights Center. Currently a Visiting Scholar at the University of Oxford China Centre, her scholarly expertise centers on China's foreign policy in developing countries, with a specialized focus on Sino-Latin American relations. Her current research project and forthcoming monograph examine China's Developmental Engagement with Latin America: Inter-Regionalism in the Global South.
Enrique Dussel Peters has a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Notre Dame (1996). Professor at the Graduate School of Economics, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) since 1993. Coordinator of the Center for Chinese-Mexican Studies (Cechimex) of the School of Economics at UNAM and of the Academic Network of Latin America and the Caribbean on China (Red ALC- China). Member of Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (level 3). Author of chapters and books on political economy, industrial organization, development, processes of segments of global value chains and the socioeconomic Latin America and Caribbean-China relationship in Spanish, German, English, Chinese, and Portuguese. http://dusselpeters.com.
Todd Hall is Professor of International Relations at the Department of Politics and International Relations, Tutor for Politics at St Anne’s College, and Director of the University of Oxford China Centre. His research looks at Chinese foreign policy, the international relations of East Asia, and the intersections of emotions and politics on the international stage. He has published widely in the field of international relations and is author of the book, Emotional Diplomacy : Official Emotion on the International Stage.
