Lucy O’Sullivan is a third year DPhil Candidate in Modern and Medieval Languages at Trinity College, Oxford. Her doctoral dissertation entitled Diego Rivera and Juan Rulfo: Post-revolutionary Body Politics (1920-1965) explores evolving intellectual and aesthetic interpretations of the revolutionary nation in post-revolutionary Mexico through a comparative reading of representations of the body in the murals of Diego Rivera and the fictional and photographic works of Juan Rulfo.
