Renata Lemos is a Senior Economist at the World Bank Education Unit. Before joining the World Bank, she was a Lecturer in the Economics Department at Stanford University and a Research Associate at the Centre for Economic PerformanceLondon School of Economics and at Harvard Business School (PhD at Jesus CollegeUniversity of Cambridge).

Renata is affiliated with the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP-LSE), the International Growth Centre (IGC), the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and the Research for Improving Systems of Education (RISE) program. Her research field is applied micro-economics. Her interests include topics in managerial and organizational economics, labour economics, economics of education, and development economics.
