Emilie Brickel-Curryova completed her DPhil at the Oxford School of Global and Area Studies with a thesis titled “Political Leadership and Democratization in Argentina: Raúl Alfonsín and Carlos Menem.” She recently co-edited the dossier “Revisiting the ‘Second (Short) Wave’ of Democratisation in Latin America, 1943-1962,” published in the Journal of Iberian and Latin American Studies (2024).
