Jessica A. Fernandez de Lara Harada, Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Faculty of History and the Oxford School of Area and Global Studies, at the University of Oxford, is one of the main historians invited to contribute expert commentary to landmark BBC Arts documentary series 'Civilisations: Rise and Fall'. The new 'Civilisations: Rise and Fall' series will take you through Ancient Rome, Cleopatra’s Egypt, the samurai era of Japan and the lost world of the Aztecs, to explore not only the rise, but the fall of these four great civilisations through the objects they left behind.
