Naim Bro utilises computational social science techniques to answer questions in the field of comparative-historical analysis. His doctoral thesis at the University of Cambridge provided a network-based explanation of the democratisation of Chilean politics in the nineteenth century. He is now a postdoctoral fellow at the Millennium Institute for Foundational Research on Data.
Andrés Estefane, PhD in History, State University of New York at Stony Brook. CONICYT Scholar (2008-2012). BA in History, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His areas of research revolve around the links among bureaucracy, local power, and the production of state knowledge in historical perspective. He has published articles in collective editorial projects and local and international scholarly journals. He also served as Academic Coordinator of the Department of History at the Universidad Alberto Hurtado. Since March 2012 he works as a researcher at the Center for the Study of Political History and Assistant Professor of the School of Government at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
