The School is pleased to announce the following Research Projects.

Dr Miles Larmer from African Studies and History has been awarded a Consolidator Grant by the ERC - Comparing the Copperbelt: Political Culture and Knowledge Production in Central Africa

Dr Francesca Lessa has been awarded a Marie Curie Global Fellowship by the ERC with Prof Leigh Payne as supervisor - Operation Condor: Accountability for Transnational Crimes in Uruguay

Prof Leigh Payne has been awarded a Newton Fund Institutional Links Grant from the British Council - State Violence in Brazil: A Study of Crimes of May 2006 in the Perspective of the Transitional Justice and Forensic Anthropology

Prof Karina Ansolabehere at the Latin American School at FLACSO-Mexico has been awarded a Newton Advanced Fellowship by the British Academy with Prof Leigh Payne as Co-applicant - Understanding human rights violations in Mexico. The case of disappearances
