MSc Public Policy in Latin America (MSc PP)
This is a nine-month programme which spans three academic terms.
This programme is available to candidates who have had some years' experience of working in the public or private sector in Latin America. The programme is designed to allow students to reflect on their experience, and to put their research into a comparative and theoretical perspective.
MSc Latin American Studies (MSc LAS)
This is a nine-month programme which spans three academic terms.
MPhil Latin American Studies (MPhil LAS)
This is an eighteen-month programme which spans six academic terms, with the addition of a field work project in Latin America (up to 3 months).
This programme allows students to develop an individual research project informed by interdisciplinary teaching at the LAC and a period of fieldwork in Latin America. The programme is ideally suited to those students considering an academic or research-focused career, and is an excellent training for a doctoral degree.
Recognised Students (Visiting Doctoral Students)
Students registered for a PhD at a university outside the UK and conducting postgraduate research on Latin America who want to do research in Oxford without registering for a degree of the University (including Brazilian students with a Bolsa Sanduíche from CNPq, CAPES, FAPESP etc) can apply for Recognised Student status with any department or faculty of the University, including the Latin American Centre.
Oxford 1+1 MBA
The Oxford 1+1 MBA programme offers high calibre applicants the opportunity to apply to both the MBA and MSc programmes at the same time, and to undertake a two-year Oxford postgraduate experience that combines the depth of study of an MSc, with the managerial and leadership breadth of an MBA.
