LAC-CAF Conference in Brasília: “The Future of Social Policy in Latin America: Is the Good News Fading?”
On 14 March 2016, the LAC held its third biennial conference in Latin America co-organised with CAF-Development Bank of Latin America. The topic was “Social Policy in Latin America” and the local partner was IPEA (Institute for Applied Economic Research, government of Brazil). Academics and policy makers from Brazil, Venezuela, the US, UK, and Canada discussed the vulnerability of social gains after the end of commodity boom. Download the full report here.
